[Video] Lilipaly puts Indonesia on the brink
With Thailand already assured of first place in Group A, the battle is on for the second semi-final berth as Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia duke it out for second place.
Indonesia have finished in second place, as they win 2-1 against Singapore while hosts Philippines were on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline against Thailand.
Khairul Amri scored the first goal of the night for Singapore, volleying home in the 27th minute thanks to an assist from Safuwan Baharudin.
However, the Garudas replied after the break as Andik Vermansyah smashed home on the run to drag his team back into the game.
Sarwut Masuk then put Thailand ahead to leave Group A in the balance with all three teams below them tied with 2 points each.
But there was joy for Indonesia as Stefano Lilipaly scored to put them ahead for the first time all night and within touching distance of the knockout stages.
Indonesia go ahead for the first time all night
The Garudas will have a new hero tonight if they go through as Stefano Lilipaly scores the go-ahead goal to put them on course for the semi-finals.
Philippines concede heartbreaker
Sarawut Masuk breaks the deadlock at Phililippine Sport Stadium, although the hosts stay in provisional second place for now.
Indonesia level the scores
The ball is crossed into the Singapore box and a late-arriving Andik Vermansyah doesn't miss a step, running on and lashing a shot high into the roof of the net. 1-1 between the two teams now!
Singapore are ahead!
Madhu Mohana's long throw into the box is headed on to the far post by Safuwan Baharudin for a lurking Khairul Amri to blast home via a kick more often seen in sepak takraw. What a way to score your - and also the team's - first goal of the tournament! 1-0 to the Lions.
