Thuwanna Stadium (89') – David Htan proves unlikely hero

We finally had a goal in the game between Myanmar and Malaysia and it was one that had the home fans on their feet in joyous celebration.

With only a minute of regulation time left, Myanmar's David Htan received the ball on the edge of the box before cutting in and unleashing a low shot that found the bottom corner of the net.

What an impact. What a winner!

Wunna Theikdi Stadium (65') – Chreng Polroth scores a long range stunner

There appeared to be little danger in the 65th minute as Sok Sovan played a slide rule pass to Chreng Polroth with most of the Vietnamese defenders back behind the ball.

However, the Cambodian midfielder took a touch, then unleashed a 30-yard drive that powered into the net. Tran Nguyen Manh had little to no chance of saving that.

Wunna Theikdi Stadium (50') – Unfortunate own goal increases Vietnam's lead

Nub Tola must be wishing the ground would swallow him up after putting the ball into his own net.

The Cambodian defence looked under little pressure as an early cross came in, but the Svay Rieng FC defender stuck a foot out and inadvertently lobbed the ball over his own goalkeeper.

Wunna Theikdi Stadium (20') – One step closer to AFF Suzuki Cup immortality

Le Cong Vinh put 10-man Vietnam ahead against Cambodia in the 20th minute of their Group B encounter, running on to a Nguyen Van Toan ball and clipping it over the opposition goalkeeper.

The goal puts the veteran striker joint-second on the overall top scorers list, level with legendary Thai sharpshooter Worrawoot Srimaka and just two goals away from Noh Alam Shah's all-time record.

Thuwanna Stadium (13') – Khairul Fahmi saves Malaysia's blushes

Aung Thu saw his penalty well saved by Malaysian custodian Khairul Fahmi after being given a chance to put Myanmar ahead after 13 minutes.
