Indonesia to face Uruguay on October 8

Indonesia has lined up a high-profile friendly match with World Cup semi-finalists Uruguay as part of their preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup.
Diego Forlan, winner of the Golden Ball as the World Cup's best player, and fellow striker Luis Suarez are in the Uruguay squad that will travel to Jakarta for a match on October 8. Both star strikers, rested from international duty in August, were recalled on Friday to the squad to face Indonesia and China.
Forlan, voted the best player at the World Cup where Uruguay finished fourth, and Suarez, who scored three goals in South Africa, were named in the 25-man squad after being left out for the game with Angola last month.
Indonesia, coached by former Vietnam boss Alfred Riedl, meet three-time champions Thailand, Malaysia and the winner of October's qualifying tournament in Group A of the AFF Suzuki Cup from December 1-8.
